About Terri Aigner, Aigner Advertising & AignerGraphics.com:

Terri Aigner, owner of Aigner Advertising, has been a professional artist, graphic designer, photographer, journalist, publisher and more for nearly 35 years. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, she grew up in tidewater Virginia and has a life-long love of the seaside, and horses. She exhibited an interest in art, writing and photography at an extremely early age and won numerous competitions in those fields as a young girl.

She began her graphics career as a freelance artist at age 16 and went on to successful positions with various newspapers and publications including the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Virginia Beach Weekly, and The Eastern Shore News before spending several years as Graphics Artist for the City of Newport News, Virginia.

Ms. Aigner officially incorporated as Aigner Advertising in 1989, and founded and produced her own successful and award-winning local newspaper, the Chickahominy Journal; she also publishes an award-winning regional telephone directory, the New Kent-Charles City Guide.

She has served as a judge for numerous art, writing and photography competitions, including the Virginia Press Association, the Virginia chapter of the International Business Communicators Assn., Virginia Forestry Association, and the State Fair of Virginia, as well as local events.

Ms. Aigner has received multiple first place awards of excellence from the prestigious Printing Industries of Virginia Association (PIVA), and Literature of the Year Award from the National Assn. of Industrial Parks-Western Hemisphere, among many others, for her graphic design, writing and publications. Her Chickahominy Journal garnered twelve Virginia Press Association awards for excellence in design and quality of writing and advertising, including winning the sweepstakes in the category of composition design, in its first year of competition.

Her photography work is well recognized; she was most recently awarded Best in Show, and several Best in Category at the popular Maymont Flower and Garden Show in Richmond, Virginia. She is also an accomplished artist and illustrator; her paintings are owned by individual collectors around the world and also have appeared in numerous publications.

Aigner Advertising focuses primarily on creation of attractive, functional websites, brochures, logo design and corporate identity, as well as printing and marketing consulting.

Ms. Aigner uses her artistic and photographic talents to give each client's product or service a truly unique and attractive image. It is highly possible to ride around Virginia on any given day and see a logo on a business building, or on a product, which was created in her studio. She recently co-designed and provided most of the interior graphics for the New Kent Visitors and Commerce Center, as well as provided imagery and graphics for the I-64 Welcome Center at Exit 214.

Ms. Aigner loves working with people to develop their talents and creations into successful, profitable businesses. The key to Aigner Advertising's success is her personal attention to each and every detail. She understands that every person is different, yet often is trying to sell a product or service for which there is stiff competition. Finding that edge, that quality that makes her client stand out among all others, is a result of taking the time to get to know her clients and their products well. She has had some clients for decades, which attests to their mutual success.

Terri Aigner co-founded a business women's education & networking group, Female Organization of Rural Community Entrepreneurs(FORCE), which meets monthly in New Kent county, Virginia. The meetings are free of charge and provide seminars on a variety of topics to educate and empower female business owners to become more successful in this rural oasis between Richmond and Williamsburg.

She has also served on the boards of various community groups including secretary of the New Kent Chamber of Commerce, as well as on local county advisory committees.

Ms. Aigner is a member of the Virginia Draft Horse and Mule Association (she created and is in charge of the club website, VDHMA.org) and also operates Arrivals In Elegance, LLC, a horse-drawn wedding carriage and tour business. She has two grown children and one grandson, and resides in Providence Forge, Virginia, on a small farm.

She has Spotted Draft horses she uses not only for her carriage business and organized wagon trail rides, but also to work on the farm, using horse-drawn equipment to maintain their pastures. She keeps two Missouri Foxtrotters for trail riding, which she highly enjoys. She is rarely seen without her camera, often taking pictures even while on horseback!

"We hired Terri Aigner after seeing Aigner Advertising's work with the New Kent Village website. Our current website was 12 years old and needed updating. She created a website for us using some of our photography and her photography during the New Kent Winery construction. After several meetings she developed the copy to be used in the site as well. The site serviced us well and has generated a lot of new business for us."

"I supplied Terri Aigner with the God given name and logo of our ministry along with tons of content and she developed a warm, friendly website with lots of tedious information about our ministry. She gave great advice about what to say and not to say to maximize the fund raising aspect of the site. She helped me work through the setup of our own "DONATE NOW" button - not a "Pay Pal" or Google account, but one we can control. I look forward to continued refinement of our site and introduction of social networking technologies."

Recommendation: Terri Aigner of Aigner Advertising was referred to us by one of our long time builder customers. Although our relationship is a new one, we were very pleased with the out come of our web site. Her creativity is reflected in her work. She made several trips to Richmond to take pictures & meet with our committee on what we would like to see. Just last week one of our account reps was at a regional trade show for one of the largest floor covering manufactures in the country & their web site coordinator  said that our home page was sensational & the site was very user friendly. We will certainly recommend her to anyone that asks.
